WHAT IS SUPER C.A.T.S.(COMPUTER AIDED TRACKING SYSTEM)?
The original CAT lane has 5 sensors that track the speed and the position of your ball as it travels down the lane. It tells you how consistent YOU are from shot to shot. It pinpoints your strengths and weak spots in the 4 key areas which go towards making a good bowler:

  1. Ball speed at release.
  2. Accuracy between two points on the lane.
  3. Launch angle.
  4. Rev Rate.
If you are consistent in all 4 of the categories above you are well on the way to confidently predicting your ball reaction.

In particular it calculates how well your BALL is performing. This is done by measuring the friction values at strategic points down the lane. It tells you WHERE your ball is hooking on the lane, if it’s hooking too early or too late or not at all!

WHICH BALL IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME?
This is the question most often asked by bowlers of all levels. Bowling is about friction. Always has been. Always will be. When selecting a ball for a customer we are trying to match up their speed and their rev rate to create the friction in the right place on the lanes. This is done by choosing the correct material type, surface preparation and drilling layout to match up to the lane conditions. WHY DOESN’T MY BALL HIT LIKE IT USED TO?
There are several possible causes for this. The main one will probably be that the ball has “tracked out”. You either need to have it resurfaced and re-textured so that it can perform again or replace it. Supercats provides the solution after diagnosis.

WHY DO ALL OF MY BALLS SEEM TO DO THE SAME THING?
Even if you started out with different surfaces on the balls, over a period of time the matte finished balls will start to shine up and hook less. The shiny balls do the opposite and so they ARE all doing the same thing. SUPERCATS shows you the friction values for each of your balls. We then calibrate them by changing surfaces, drilling layouts or in some cases you will need to replace them for a ball that is more suitable for your game.
